Why INDD files have no thumbnail in Windows
InDesign does not add thumbnails to File Explorer on Windows. Adobe Bridge can show them, but only inside Bridge.
Design Previewer brings them to File Explorer. INDD and INDT files show the first page as a thumbnail, with a larger view in the preview pane.
